- Work on several phases of Software Development Life Cycle and are able to work independently with limited guidance
- Provide skills development and feedback to Application Programmers
- Participate in product design and respond to customer requirements based on test experience
- Support application teams during post production support and ensure the defects are analyzed and categorized properly for the first and second level of support.
- Responsible for understanding the applications architecture, solution components and integration to other applications
- Responsible for understanding application requirements and their impact across applications and/or interfaces
- Coordinate with other application architects to design the overall solution to meet the application requirements
- Leads the development team(s) in translating the detailed design into individual development components on different platforms for successful delivery of overall project
- Supports the Technical Business Analyst in the development of functional specification by providing input on initial effort estimation and high level design
- Ensure architecture standards are adhered to in solution design to meet business requirement
- Performs technical review of design, code and test results
- Support the triage and resolution of high severity incidents
- Provide input on effort estimation after detailed design
Qualification : - Bachelor's Degree or in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, IT or other related fields
- Understand and work within Credit Card area (at least 3 years, more preferably). This is a MUST.
- At least 4 years experience in COBOL Language programming Mainframe or PC
- Able to present Architecture/Solution to executive (business and IT)
- Required Skill Set of Mainframe COBOL, IMS, DL/1, VSAM, CICS, JCL
- Programming Logic Fundamental, experience in other language is a plus
- CICS Fundamental
- Understand JCL Command
- SDLC is preferred
- Be able to lead or work independently and takes responsibility for team result
