- Analyzes, defines, and documents requirements for data, workflow, logical processes, hardware and operating system environment, interfaces with other systems, internal and external checks and controls, and outputs
- Analyzes and estimates feasibility, costs, time, and compatibility with hardware and other programs
- Design, develop, and support applications utilizing the RPG (Report Program Generator) language, including RPG IV in an OS/400 Environment | AS400, iSeries
- Creates test transactions and runs tests to find errors and confirm programs meet specifications.
- Writes and maintains documentation to describe program development, logic, coding, testing, changes, and corrections.
Qualification : - Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems (MIS), Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent work experience required
- Good command of AS/400 Skills - OS/400, RPG/400, RPG ILE, DB2/400
- 3 – 5 years of working experience with above relevant skill
- Experience with working in Financial/ Banking business field would be advantage
-Excellent communication skills
-Experience with XML and external interfaces to other applications preferred
-Strong debugging and problem solving skills
-Ability to work well on individual tasks as well as working in a team environment
